Yes! The chemistry between these two was immediate. The banter funny, sexy, and sweet. I laughed out loud so many times in this book. If it wasn't the heroine Charlotte delivering great quips it was her trusty, loyal, fabulous best friend Tamara. And let's not forget Ty. I love a man who knows what he wants, claims it, and doesn't let anything or anyone get in the way. Tyson was determined but also loving and respectful. "Watching" this couple come together was fun and entertaining. So glad I stumbled upon this treasure. Can't wait to jump back onto the FB reading group to give thanks for leading me to this series. Like I said short, sweet and oh so yummy!!! This was a wonderfully great read. The story flowed and kept my attention from start to finish. Charlotte and Ty were just awesome. Loved the banter between them. If you can don't miss out on this book. It is well worth the price (in my opinion). I didn't know it was a series so to speak so I am now off to read Tamara's and Russell's story. I have no doubt is will be just as good as this one.
The book was big on romance, and I love how she stomps all over the so called fuddy duddies who try to keep the racial barrier going. But if it takes one book, one couple at a time we will eventually get rid of all of it.
I felt like I was right there with them. I read in one sitting.
Lena Matthews will be going on my tbr list and an automatic buy from now on...Janette
This is a good story you'll love the way Ty holds on to Char not letting her go. Not only is it a good love story, but a hot one as well. The way they go at it mot keeping their hands off each other, you would pray some real men was like that. Enough, For Love Sake Only will not disappoint you, if there is a story for Char friend Tamara I can not wait to buy it. Go ahead a buy this just have a man or women handy you'll need them.

I acquired this book as a free read. I'm fairly wary of free reads especially IR romances as most of them aren't very good but this was a pleasant surprise. This was my first time reading Ms. Matthews' work and I have to say I'm glad I gave it a try. I absolutely loved Ty and Charlotte. Not so sure if I'm intrigued enough to want to know more about how things turn out for Tamara and Russell but anything is possible. Slight typos aside (think being utilized instead of thing) in a few instances, I adored this read. Great storytelling wrapped in a neat little bow. Well done Ms. Matthews, well done!
Though not long by my standards it was well fleshed out and it didn’t feel rushed and the love the characters, humor and the boot knocking!
Give it a go...I actually bought the series so I have a good feeling I’ll enjoy the others.
I read The Blacker the Berry (my favorite) about a year ago and I always wondered where it all started. Well out of the blue I saw this book and I thought why not, I love her other books so I'll give it a try. Soooo happy I did, this was the start of it all. I thought Russell was hot but Ty might have given him a run for his money. Who couldn't love a super hot cowboy with an alpha male attitude and a naughty side? I loved the instant attraction between him and Charlotte with her adorable self. He didn't give her a chance to run from him physically or emotionally. This was a steamy, fun read with extremely lovable characters. If you love this (which I did) check out TBTB which is Russell's story.
... and there is no sense in fighting it. That 's just what this cute couple did. One look and that was all it took for Charlotte Sane and Tyson Wilcox to fall instantly in love. Charlotte had to get over her read of messing up Ty's business because of small town attitude towards her color not being the right one for Ty. The thought of losing Charlotte was more than Ty's heart could take. He was not letting her leave. She was not only his world but his galaxy and he was going to convince her. The thought of being without Ty was just as frightening. Once he convinced her to stay, he hauled her butt to the justice of the peace as soon as he could. They were such a sweet couple. I enjoyed reading this story and I can tell Charlotte's friend Tamara is a mess. She's going to be a handful.
