Every parent's nightmare.
Two teenage boys disappear on the same day. Intelligence Director Sarah Abernathy head of a West Coast anti-terrorism agency and Los Angeles Homicide detective Richard Jones don’t know each other but they both know their sons’ are missing.
Saving one may mean the death of the other, and the collision course between an ambitious and desperate federal cop and an old school cop explodes across Los Angeles County.
The man behind the kidnapping, Isaac Wasserman, is a deep mole inside the U.S. banking system who has directed a decade’s old money laundering conspiracy under an assumed name and a false identity. He too has a son at risk—and he will do anything to save him. Anything at all.

This really is a nail biter, and the characters feel real and are well fleshed out. I stayed up half the night trying to finish it because I wanted to know how it ends! There are some editing issues, due in part to the fact that one of the main characters (Sarah Abernathy) was originally written as a male. You can tell because the pronouns don't always match. If you ignore that, however, the story is very exciting and well written!Product details
